Antique
Rose Gardens is located at 5716 Main Hwy. on Hwy 31
between Parks & St Martinville.
We are open
daily from 9 a.m. -
5 p.m. during the busy planting seasons for this area
(February-May and October-November).
Other
times we are open by chance or appointment. Call us!
We'll gladly accommodate your schedule, so don't be shy.
You'll find
over 1500 beautiful and hardy, disease
resistant
antique roses
in stock as well as a variety of hybrid daylilies, hardy
and disease-resistant perennials, and Louisiana native
plants.
There's no
better way to spend an afternoon than
visiting
Antique Rose Gardens.
The nursery covers three acres and is home to ancient
oaks, cottonwoods, redbuds, sweet gums, maples, magnolias
and crepe myrtle all providing both shade and
beauty. The display gardens include old garden roses,
hybrid daylilies, fruit trees, and camellias. An old
kitchen garden provides ginger and asparagus, among other
delights. A prayer garden on the site offers a quiet
place to sit and enjoy the view, and swings beneath the
oaks make it easy to relax and cool off.
Take
A Tour

available by calling owners Susan

at the Antique Rose Gardens, March-April and
October-November offer the most spectacular display and
are superior times for touring the gardens, where you
will find an ample selection of native plants and trees
on display as well as many old garden roses, daylilies,
and camellias.
